We are Hamilton-based General Practice Located in the heart of the town. We provide a wide range of service to our clients which Include General practice, mole screening, skin cancer diagnosis, skin cancer surgery, Minor Surgery, Vasectomy, Travel medicine consults, Booked casual patients appointments, Home visits to those who are unable to come in because of health reasons ( Palliative patients). We are a new practice, and we believe in maintaining a long-term Doctor-patient relationship and focus on providing continuity of care to our patients. We believe that affordable health care should be provided to all and are striving to provide best possible access to those who need it the most at best price allowed under the current funding system to the clinic.


The clinic has been established with a view that the health care should be accessible to all patients when they need it. We believe that to make this possible it is important to maintain a certain doctor-patient ratio and we intend not to exceed that. The clinic is all about practising fair and responsible medicine and support people to the best of our ability within the community by providing a wide range of services and procedures under one roof.


Afterhours Sevice

We are located at 31 Pembroke Street, Hamilton. The clinic is on the “medical mile” in Hamilton with The Waikato Hospital, Anglesea pharmacy, Hamilton Radiology, Pacific Radiology, specialist clinics, Ear clinic and physiotherapy nearby.

We have extended working hours till 6 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.We will be open until 8 pm on Mondays and Thursdays to help those who cannot come during working hours. We will open on Saturday between 0830 and 1230 pm. This will be an after hours drop in service to hep those who cannot make it in working hours.

Dr. Lakhminder SandhuMBBS, FRNZCGP, FAEG, Dip in Travel Medicine, Diploma in Obs and Gynecology (India)

Trained as a Gynaecologist in India and is now a GP and a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She holds a Diploma in Travel Medicine from Otago University. She is an accredited yellow fever vaccinator.  Her special interest is in Women’s health, Family Planning, Travel Medicine, Child health and Elderly health care.


Dr. Dilawar Singh MBBS, FRNZCGP, FAEG, Dip. Skin cancer medicine and Surgery, Diploma in Dermoscopy (SCCA), MRNZCUCP

Trained in India and is now a GP and a Fellow of Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He holds a Diploma in skin cancer medicine and surgery, Diploma in Dermoscopy and is a Member of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care Physicians. He has a special interest in Skin Cancer surgery, mole checks, Cosmetic Medicine, Emergency care, minor surgery and adolescent health.




Nikki Clarke – Administrator 

My Name is Nikki Clarke and my whanau are from Te Puke however I was born in Hamilton. I am a mother of two sons aged 23, 22 and I have one step daughter aged 13.  I have been in the Health Sector for 13 years and have a range of experience as a medical receptionist and Clinic Manager.

My position at Hamilton Lake is a part time Administrator, so feel free to ask me for help and guidance when calling or visiting our Clinic. My partner and I also have a building company which I support him with.  In my spare time I enjoy fishing, tramping and recently have been challenging myself with participating in triathlons.  I also enjoy developing my knowledge with studying Te Reo part time.


Haresh Sangam – Practice Administrator 

I was born and brought up in India. I moved to New Zealand in 2015 and have been living in Hamilton since then.
My role in the practice includes scheduling appointments, managing patients’ records, handling ACC claims and assisting in overall operations of the medical centre.

I have a Post Grad degree in Applied Management from EIT, Auckland and have previously worked for many years in Banking/Financial Services and Customer Service. My goal is to make a difference by providing effective practice support and look forward to working along side patients, family /Whanau, G.P’s and other health/social providers.


Riza Alcartado – Practice Nurse

I am from Phillipines and have been a practice nurse since last 7 years. I have been working with Hamilton Lake clinic since the clinic was established in Feb 2017.
